iThentic is the home for independent film and video within the exploding mobile marketplace. We're actively acquiring and commissioning new, innovative work from both established content creators and emerging independent producers. If you'd like to submit your work for consideration by iThentic, please review the following submission guidelines and follow the steps to upload your project.

Submission Guidelines:

  • Genre: Everything is welcome, except pornography and illegal/infringing content.
  • Movie trailers for films currently in release in North America are welcome, however films which are out of release or without distribution will not be accepted
  • Running Time: 1 to 5 Minutes [up to 75MB file size]
  • Format: Windows Media (.wmv); Audio Video Interleave (.avi); QuickTime (.mov); MPEG 1/2/4 (.mpg, .mpeg)
  • Suggested encoding size: 468 x355
  • Country of Origin: All countries accepted
  • Language: English (or no dialogue)
  • You must own, or have written permission to use in all formats on all media, any and all content that you submit, including all individual elements of it, like music or trademarks.
  • You must review and accept both iThentic's Terms and Conditions of Use and Content License Agreement before uploading media.

Production suggestions:

  • Check out our filmmaker toolkit for resources.
  • Keep it short and entertaining - for viewers on the go.
  • Make sure your audio is crisp (mobile audio may be hard to hear without headphones). And go for strong visuals.
  • Mobile screens are small, so emphasize tight shots with limited movement.
  • Be careful with text and subtitles (they're hard to read on a small screen).
  • Test your shot with a video phone first, if you have one, so that you can see it on the small screen.

To Submit Your Video Clip or Mobisode for Consideration

  1. Create an author profile (or login)
  2. Log your submission
  3. Agree to our Content License Agreement
  4. Upload your file(s) or submit by mail

No media will be accepted (even by mail) if you have not logged it on the web site.  All submissions are subject to iThentic's Content License Agreement so please review them! You will find details there regarding the rights you are granting to us, as well as an explanation of how and when you may get paid.
