It isn't a golden ticket but it's pretty close. Here at iThentic, we're committed to finding the best in web video content and, when we do find it, we want everyone to know. So, in an effort to recognize the great work of the creative people whose work appears on iThentic, we've created the Golden Play. Each month we'll be awarding a Golden Play to a deserving web video for a specific achievement. From Best Director to Best Acting By An Ensemble to Most Innovative Use of a Set, we're going to be selecting the top 3 in that category on our site and letting you, the audience, vote and decide on who gets the Golden Play.

What is it?
A monthly contest where we honour an individual or group achievement in web content who has shared their work on our site.

How does it work?
We identify 3 nominees and iThentic's audience gets to decide who receives the Golden Play through votes.

What do you get if you win?
Once a Golden Play is awarded, your "play" button on your film changes from blue to gold, indicating to everyone that your film is special. Your achievement will be listed along with the description of your short. You also get promotion in our e-blast as well as prominence on our site.

We are also assembling additional prizes for winners that will vary month to month. From a one-on-one session with an industry professional in the category won to products from our sponsors, winners will receive a little something extra for their win. Who knowsÉ there may even be a little money involved.

What are the rules?
If your short or web series has been accepted to iThentic, consider yourself already entered. All films and series in the iThentic catalog are reviewed for each achievement so, if you've won for one achievement, you could win again a few months down the road for something else.
